Midlife Beauty

It seems that now when my friends and I get together the conversation always gets sidetracked to topics such as “the best” skin care products, where to find that great fitted outfit so our bodies look “svelte”, who’s had the latest “nip” and “tuck”. Gone are the days that we sat around just talking about our families and juicy gossip. Now we are gripping on to every bit of quality information we can get our hands on when it comes to our physical health and beauty. So quietly and behind closed doors, we’re talking to each other. What do you use? What works? What doesn’t? What’s worth the money? What isn’t? Have you tried this? Would you? Yes? No? Maybe?

Was it always like this with women worrying about their beauty and health at this age or is it because the whole world seems to be so focused on being young?
